Being findable & fundable

See how we developed a new website for an intergenerational arts charity in under 6 weeks

A website that builds funder relationships

Magic Me is an established charity that connects older people with younger people through art and design activities. The organisation’s objective is to reduce loneliness and boost social cohesion.

When we engaged Magic Me, their website didn’t do justice to the amazing work they were doing. It may have even been undermining them in the eyes of funders. Our objective was to create a new website that helped visitors to quickly understand Magic Me’s work, and take action to support them.

Magic Me is one of the first charities to choose our Community Platform, a website system built exclusively for small charities. See their website from the link below.

New website objectives

The new Magic Me website not only had to look good and work well, it needed to support three core aims.

Generate donations

Magic Me has a modest individual giving donor base, so a core objective was to drive traffic to the donation page on the new website.

Attract corporate partners

The organisation wanted to develop relationships with business to increase social impact through sponsorship, volunteering and donations.

Appeal to funders

The website needed to clearly state the charity’s impact to funders – building trust and confidence that investing in the charity delivers demonstrably positive results.

A collaborative team effort

We worked alongside Magic Me as they performed an internal “content sprint”. Their team dedicated two weeks to producing content for the pages on the agreed sitemap, providing polished, well-written content in the structure we requested.

This meant that we were able to upload and launch their new website in under 6 weeks – from conception to completion.

We've used WordPress before, but this was miles ahead in terms of simplicity. It was intuitive. Community Platform delivers an easy-to-manage solution for charities with a limited budget.
