Request a free charity website audit

Every month, we conduct a handful of detailed website audits for charities – offered as a completely free service.

The idea is to help uncover opportunities for improvement and growth. Not all organisations are ready for – or even need – a full website redesign. In many cases, a small number of high-impact changes can make a big difference. And if you feel a rebuild is in your future, our free audit can help build the case.

If you would like to request a free website audit, please complete the form on this page. You will be presented with:

  • A written report – providing key insights and suggested actions
  • A screen recording – offering an “off the cuff” perspective as we browse your website

There is no cost for this, and absolutely no obligation. Depending on demand, your audit should be with you within a week.

Frequently asked questions

Why do you offer free audits?

We’re passionate about helping charities thrive online. We allocate several hours a month to providing free guidance to charities in the shape of audits, webinars and Q&A sessions.

Whilst these activities do sometimes lead to organisation’s requesting our services, the primary goal is to help charities improve their websites to better serve both the organisation and its supporters.

Are there any obligations attached to the audit?

No. You do not need to buy our services or implement any of the changes we suggest. All we ask is that once the audit has been presented, you acknowledge receipt of your report. This way, we know that our feedback and suggestions are being received.

What does the audit actually cover?

Our audits are holistic and is split into five sections:

Relevance – how fresh is your content, and how closely does it meet user needs?

Performance – how well-built is your website, and how quickly does it load?

Narrative – how well does your website tell your story, and connect with users?

Access – how easy is your website for disabled people?

Identity – how does your website reflect your brand values?

The audit picked out quite a few areas we hadn't even thought about that actually make so much sense!
